I was born in 1977 in Pirna (Saxony), living in Lohmen and later on in Dresden. I studied media technolgy in Mittweida and so graduated as engineer. Today i live in Berlin.
I use my technical knowlegde and background to realise projects in artisctic contexts. I work as programmer for artistic interactive visual applications and real-time-visual-environments. I'm part of the work cooperative DS-X.org. I was a founding member of the Trans-Media-Akademie (TMA) Hellerau and worked for the CYNETART festival many years.
I collaborate with Frieder Weiss in many projects to develop visuals especially designed for use with dance, theater, music and computer art, based on his Software Kalypso.
Together with Ulf Langheinrich i develop a modular software toolkit for Ulf Langheinrichs artistic projects based on Max, OPENGL and Javascript. Other ongoing collaborations with Johanna Roggan, Phase7, Ensemble Kontraste and Waldorfschule Dresden. Also i have been teaching as part of the Domelab in Dresden.
